violets in spring by Donna Mitchell-Moniak

Innocence is simple, wide eyed, and open.
Innocence is naked, unblemished, and stripped clean.
Innocence is about total receptivity. It does not put up shields, nor does it use other mechanisms of separation, but instead is able and willing to be fully present in the moment, receiving that moment and all that goes with it unguarded.
