From kathy crater on February 11:

Sacrifice is to make whole or holy. It is an action, an exchange of energies. It is taking a part, fusing into a oneness. In this way all separate things gradually become parts of a greater formation. Sacrificing can be giving up or a renouncing, but actually it involves recognition of a purpose for a higher good or benefit for a greater Life. In our existence there is this chain of continually advancing lives. Each life is a link in the chain and we are all connected. There is this give and take and blend and share. The leaf falls to the earth to make room on the limb for the birth of the bud of a new leaf, thus sacrificing is a creative action. Even as I write one thought sacrifices to make room for the next thought. It makes things NEW. Sacrifice is the Will -to-Love. It holds on to nothing but has everything to give continuously. God’s love is a great sacrificial service as we observe our world constantly growing, increasing, expanding, exchanging the old worn-out forms into a new, more adapted form, seemingly out of nothing. Christ said,"Behold I make all things new."

From Emilie Spear on February 11:

A phrase continues to repeat itself: Sacrifice is Service for Refinement. I smile as I notice an orange sacrifices itself such that it may become refined consciousness through a human being. As all things are in relation, through sacrifice there is an offering for refinement to be manifested. It’s brings tears to my eyes to see this happening all around. Constant renewal occurring, all for the sake of higher refinement and vibration to see itself. As Soul understands this, it sings and rejoices… easily offering itself over and over such that more Light may be known. Imagine if we saw all things are simply doing that… sacrificing such that more Light may be known. It IS a very Lighted world!

From Steve Kramer on February 11:

A haiku for sacrifice:

As the droplet gives
itself up to the puddle,
so is sacrifice.
