heart drop by Donna Mitchell-Moniak

Today it happened again.
Sweetness itself,
Golden like honey,
As pure as melted snow
Drops from above into me.
It takes my breath away.

I feel brand new; completely remade.
Every cell alive, awake, breathing
Brought together from self-dividedness.

I feel like a zipper that’s been zipped,
Strong now, with function.
