Space 130 by Donna Mitchell-Moniak

Mercury is the mind, therefore Mercury is the Son of Mind – the Soul.

Mercury is the messenger of the Gods. Soul is the messenger of God, the Wise Ones, and of the Powers of God.

Mercury is the bridge, the link, the intermediary. Soul is the bridge between spirit and matter, the link, the Relator, and the intimate intermediary between all things in all life.

Mercury cannot usually be seen, masked by the light of the sun. Soul is not seen for a longtime, its presence masked by the personal light of the personality, the sun of the day, in a way similar to how the sun blots out the stars of the heavens during daytime.

Mercury is the communicator. Soul is the Word.

Mercury is buddhi. Eventually soul is that.
Ah, there’s the key.

The soul is the first level of intuition. Buddhi is the source of intuition. Soul is the middle principle, but buddhi was that ‘before’ soul as the middle of the Triad.

Soul is omniscience, all knowing and understanding of that which is below it, but buddhi was that ‘before’. Manas’ knowing is not whole. It is a knowing of the parts. One could question if ‘Mind of God’ means Manas at all. It seems that the wholism of the Mind of God is buddhic, but that the specifics or parts that are revealed to the minds of men are manasic.

Soul is omnipresent. Mercury, like quicksilver can be too. But buddhi is truly the first full expression of omnipresence – ALL everywhere – God in everything – NO thing – sunyata. So again soul reflects these factors, or rather the three aspects of the Triad are the three kings giving their gifts to the Christ child – the soul. The soul was given something of the qualities of the Triad and as the soul matures into them the soul can be released from the three worlds. Equally one sees that as Presence matures into each of the three aspects of the Triad the higher initiations are conferred and Presence is released from the ‘limitation’ of each of those planes of expression. Maturity of Manas releases the Soul from the three worlds and onto the Buddhic plane at the fourth degree. Maturity of Buddhi releases freed soul from buddhi onto the Atmic plane at fifth. Maturity of Atma releases Being from atma onto the monadic plane at sixth.

The soul is omnipotent to the three worlds below. That factor was within buddhi too. It is within buddhi in that buddhi is the point of both creation and completion/destruction. This is omnipotence. There is a sense that atma’s omnipotence is different in that buddhi’s omnipotence is related to form hence creation/destruction; this because buddhi is the densest plane to the Logos. It is the plane of form to the Logos. This is another reason why 3 is a number for form – 21 subplanes in the phys/astral/manasic planes reduce to 3.) Thus everything below buddhi is totally dense, in fact might be considered as 21 subplanes of buddhi. Furthermore, the lower three subplanes of the buddhic plane seem to be the archetypes of the three lower planes and absorb them up, in a way like the Assumption of the Virgin, with the fourth degree process and placement of the freed soul onto the fourth subplane of the Fourth plane – buddhi. (Thus 24 subplanes lie below – 24 a number of Shamballa.)

Mercury is buddhi. Soul eventually becomes buddhic, freed from being the Son of Mind and freed as Consciousness onto the first plane of freedom – buddhi. Why is buddhi this? Because of sunyata and how buddhi is the first true expression of that (openness, void).

Buddhi is the first presentation of the pure light of the heart of the sun and so in this way Mercury and the Sun are one.

‘I and my Father are one.’
Mercury, the Soul, and the Father, the monad, are One.

Furthermore, the soul united with the monad are one unit of light expression within the purpose and the light of the Logos. Thus soul/monad are at-oned with the greater Father, thus drawing in the quality of the central spiritual sun.

Mercury and the Sun are one.

From Rebecca Field on April 12:

Dear Donna,

Thank you for writing this. It attests to your brilliance as an interpreter of the Bailey material.

In order to understand better what you are saying, I have to review buddhi. To say that the Sun and Mercury are one is an interesting concept. Everything is One.
Have to think about what you are telling us about the evolution of the soul. What does it mean in terms of practical everyday service in the world.

Love, light and and blessings,

Rebecca
