Esoteric Astrology considers all facets of one's chart as the tools of the Soul in order to further its purposes for this incarnation. Esoteric Astrology begins with the foundation of traditional astrology and builds from there. Two more layers are added: a) esoteric and hierarchical rulers and b) the driving force of the Soul itself to facilitate its intended service in this life.

Esoteric Astrology 101: Revealing The Soul Through Astrology
This class has concluded.

This 10-session online course offers all the basics of both traditional and esoteric astrology. It is perfect for someone new to Astrology as well as anyone needing a refresher. Natal charts are given to all students. 
Astrology Illumined: Revealing the Soul through Astrology  by Donna Mitchell-Moniak and Sara Traub is the text used by the course.

Esoteric Astrology 201: Using Esoteric and Hierarchical Rulers for Chart Interpretation
This class has concluded.

This six week class works with the esoteric and hierarchical rulers of the astrological signs in one's chart. The teaching on the esoteric and hierarchical levels of the planets and signs was given to humanity by the Master DK in his book Esoteric Astrology written with Alice Bailey. As a branch of astrology, esoteric astrology is interested in the higher nature of all beings and its expression. As such, esoteric astrology begins with the Soul level of a person, planet, or sign, then moves through an esoteric level of interpretation, and then further refines the interpretation through the hierarchical level. The latter implies the level of pure Being of the person, planet, or sign. These levels of interpretation give a person access to the qualities of wisdom and purpose displayed in the birth chart. 

This range of energy and vibration – from exoteric (traditional), to esoteric (Soul), to hierarchical (pure Being) – points to the path of the evolution of consciousness and quality of the person. These three tiers reflect:

• one’s beneficial and detrimental default patterns described by the chart’s planetary placements (exoteric)
• one's access to the expanded capacity of consciousness, qualities, and skills within (esoteric)
• the untapped and undreamed possibilities that can be achieved and established if one addresses the default patters and engages their true capacity. This untapped or unrecognized possibility is offered through the hierarchical ruler.
