sink into stillness &
deepen your mindfulness practice
This all inclusive seven day silent retreat will afford you the opportunity to sink into stillness and deepen your mindfulness practice. Guided sitting, lying down and walking meditations will be offered along with mindful movement.
This retreat is appropriate for beginners as well as those with experience in meditation. No prior yoga experience is necessary and adaptations are available for any level of fitness. The retreat takes place in the beautiful foothills of Western Massachusetts and there is outdoor space for walking practice. The silence, supported by Kate, the staff and fellow participants, creates a sense of community, investigating and exploring experiences beyond usual day to day life. These 7 days afford the unique possibility of dropping into moment to moment awareness and peace for an extended period of time in an environment designed to support the meditative experience.
There will be opening and closing opportunities for group dialogue, evening talks and brief meetings to discuss and share about the practice. The guidance offered on this retreat will center on the basics of mindfulness, meditation and the development of lasting peace and equanimity in one's life.
