Judy Harrison

judy

I am a practiced meditator and long time student of consciousness and the ageless wisdom. My path has included participation in the Arcane School and extensive study in the writings of the Master DK. It was in this pursuit, during the fall of 2001, that I met Donna Mitchell-Moniak. I was drawn to enroll in a course that she was offering at that time entitled Clarification of Consciousness. In retrospect it was clearly a soul driven decision since for me the class truly lived up to its name. At its conclusion I had found in Donna a spiritual mentor and in Spirit Fire my soul group and spiritual home. Both have since become an anchor in my life.

I joined the Board of Directors for Spirit Fire in May of 2005 and have since taught meditation and introductory classes in both esoteric studies and conscious living. I hold a Master’s degree in education and supervise a clinical team that supports delayed and disabled infants and toddlers and their families. I am also affiliated with a local Unitarian Church which has given me the opportunity to work with youth and teens, a population close to my heart. Together these various fields have been where I touch others and integrate the teachings of consciousness in my day to day interactions. This has been my joy and service as I practice living the motto of Spirit Fire to “Change yourself—change the world”.

I believe in the unlimited power of the body to heal itself when it is properly supported and my work is based on this premise. I am passionate about helping people empower themselves to reclaim their own well-being. I combine my understanding of functional medicine, biochemistry, the power of herbs and whole foods, and the intricacies of endocrinology to facilitate a healing journey for clients and students alike.  I also incorporate the hands-on learning from both my own spiritual practice and my role as the nutritional provider, advocate and educator of my four children and stepchildren into my practice and teachings.
