It all began when I was very young. Before turning four, it was obvious that I could hear, see, and become aware of more than those around me. Devout at a young age, but a wanton party-er, it wasn’t until my late 20’s that I committed to the Path I came here for. The rest, as they say, is history.
The teachings of the Tibetan Master DK, through the Alice Bailey books and the Native American shamanic tradition, opened me powerfully to the richness of my past, its excellent teachers, and the two lineages that I have lived for a very long time. Equally, my devotion to the Christos, the mystical awakener within, found expression as Soul began to overtake and serve through my life. I found myself becoming a spiritual teacher and mentor. At the same time, intuition blossomed, and a deep understanding of subjective and objective realities increased and sought expression in the creation of courses, curricula, my first book, and articles.
I remembered the Raja Yoga training I had received so long ago, and began to teach meditation. This brought the ancient and powerful science of union and spiritual fruition to a modern fullness, acknowledging the energetic changes that I could “see” in the human energetic and subtle systems, and in the new and dynamic kinds of spiritual energy available now to humanity. That meditative practice is called Awareness Meditation. It leads to radical enlightenment.
I remembered the training in subtle energy medicine and well-being that I received long ago. It is expressed as “living homeopathy,” which is the application of in-the-moment tincturing of the light and power of Consciousness when I am with a person. Their essence, non-divided and sublime, rings through me and my cells try to offer it back. Like to like (homeopathy), the resonance brings the current state of awareness to new possibilities in an every day way.
When the deep tantrayana and vajrayana training of the past arose within my consciousness, much changed within. Non-dual states became common in meditation; meditative awareness became common all the time. The this and that’s fell away.
My work is to assist. Each person’s path is their own; along the way we all encounter signposts and door openers. It seems I have been that for some, as others have been that for me.
The work I do brings the deep levels of subjective and sublime reality into the everyday; relativize-ing the profound by helping others see that it is here now if we notice. BE AWAKE NOW! is the simplicity of the teaching. BREATHE and know that your breath has been breathed by everyone and everything on this planet, and wind carries the cries and laughter of every being.
Spirit Fire is the birth-child of the radical enlightenment that is calling humanity forth out of its dream state. Our motto says it all: Change yourself -- change the world!

   Judy Harrison

I have been a seeker, meditator, and student of the ageless wisdom for most of my adult life. During that time, I have attended the Arcane School for seven years and studied the writings of Master DK extensively. I met Donna Mitchell-Moniak in the fall of 2001 after searching for a teacher of the Bailey material who could refine and extend my consciousness training. It was at that juncture that I enrolled in the Clarification of Consciousness three-year course of study and then continued with the two-year program in Esoteric Psychology.  These were so skillfully taught by Donna that they became, unexpectedly, a vehicle for both wisdom and grace. I joined the Board of Directors at Spirit Fire in May 2005 and in that capacity developed and became the editor of Soundings, its quarterly publication. I have also supported programming at Spirit Fire and developed and taught meditation classes and introductory classes in esoteric studies and conscious living. I currently hold a Master's degree in education. Serving as the coordinator for Early Intervention services on the Cape and Islands, I supervise a clinical team that supports delayed and disabled infants, toddlers, and their families. In this position, I continue to develop workshops and training for both staff and parents around various aspects of teaching, development, and parenting skills. Currently, my affiliation with the local Unitarian Church has afforded me the chance to work with youth and teens, which provides an opportunity to support their spiritual growth and development. This is another strong interest. My goal and joy has been to find a subjective group field and to live and integrate the teachings of consciousness in my day-to-day interactions with others. Spirit Fire has been a rare find in this regard; one that provides both the field and community.  Connecting with Spirit Fire has enabled me, as well as others, to consciously live its motto; Change yourself, change the world!

   Martha Henry-MacDonald

Martha Henry-MacDonald first met Donna in 2002 while taking the Discover the Self class. She continued her studies with Donna earning a certificate in Esoteric Psychology (2004-2006) and has been involved with Spirit Fire ever since. Martha's background includes a BS in Physical Therapy from Boston University; Post Graduate study at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions; Post Graduate study through Michigan State's School of Osteopathic Medicine; as well as extensive training in many areas including Manual Medicine, Energetic Osteopathy, Visceral Manipulation and Craniosacral Therapy. Martha began studying Esoteric Healing through the International Network for Esoteric Healing (INEH) in 1993, and became a certified instructor in Esoteric Healing in 2001. She continues to be a very active member of the INEH. Presently, she teaches Esoteric Healing in New York City, and MA, and has taught in Canada as well. She is co-teaching Discover the Self, a weekend seminar on the Science of the Seven Rays, in MA. She teaches meditation workshops at Harmony Center in Medfield, MA and The Center at Westwoods in Westwood, MA. Martha has also taught post-graduate manual therapy courses for ten years. Volunteer work includes: Treasurer for the North American International Network for Esoteric Healing Financial Team member for the INEH - International Group Board of Directors for Harmony Center, Medfield, MA Director of Meditation at Harmony Center Meditation Facilitator and Instructor at Harmony Center and The Center at Westwoods Martha has a private practice in Medfield, MA where she offers personalized Physical Therapy and Esoteric Healing sessions. Martha is a member of Spirit Fire's Board of Directors and is actively involved in "The Project" - the ongoing work of recording, editing, labeling, and packaging the archives of Donna's teachings.    Joy Om

I have been a student of consciousness and spirituality from childhood and of the teachings of the Tibetan Master DK through Alice Bailey since 1990. I began taking courses of study with Donna Mitchell-Moniak in 1997 and subsequently have taught several courses and helped found the Spirit Fire community in 2000. My education includes a BA from Duke University in Psychology, and a Masters in Special Education from the University of Oregon. I traveled widely and worked as a teacher, Social Worker and consultant. Following a desire to deepen my knowledge of the embodied Self, I received a Basic and Advanced Certification as a Rolfer at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO. I also have trained as a Registered Cranio-Sacral practitioner at the Energy School, Boulder Co. Currently it is my pleasure to work with people through a variety of offerings including Rolfing, Cranio-Sacral therapy, and Essential Embodiment - an inner meditative and dynamically co-creative practice of energy and light embodiment. I have received training in meditation and esoteric studies through Spirit Fire and am now a member of the Spirit Fire Board of Directors as well as Faculty. At this time, I teach several courses in Boulder including Esoteric Astrology, studies in the Seven Rays and am co-creating and offering a new one-year course in Esoteric Psychology.  I am also involved with "The Project" - organizing the materials that Donna Mitchell-Moniak has created over the years. Spirit Fire, and the community that it engenders, have provided a warm, supportive, yet spacious field for the deepening into meditative practice and the ever-unfolding expressions of self in the world. It is a community - and communion- in the most Real sense.

   Cherie Peterson

Cherie Peterson earned a BA at the University of Wisconsin and an MSE degree (Masters of Science in Esotericism) from The Center for Esoteric Studies. She attended advanced courses for 15 years in the Sciences of the Soul, Esoteric Psychology, and The Clarification of Consciousness through the same organization. She also earned a CMT degree from the Evergreen School of Healing Arts.   After a 10-year career as a Marketing Support Representative for IBM, she owned and ran Health Clinics and Centers for 20 years. Cherie presently owns a nutritional products internet business, www.balance-your-body.com, and has created Wisdom Funding, a non-profit for funding spiritual organizations and individuals.   Courses that Cherie has taught, or currently teaches, include Basic Metaphysics, Discover the Self - The Science of the Seven Rays, Meditation, and Conscious Creation and Conscious Transition. She currently facilitates a weekly meditation Thursdays at noon in Evergreen, Colorado. Cherie is also a member of the Spirit Fire Board of Directors.
I began studying with Donna Mitchell-Moniak around 1996, after the Seven Ray Conference in Santa Fe where I attended one of her talks about chakras. I have studied The Tibetan's teachings through the books of Alice A. Bailey most of my adult life.

   Sara Traub

I have been following a calling to find meaning and live a purposeful life since I was a teenager. This led me to dabble in a number of modalities, constantly seeking and exploring. Serious training began when I was introduced to the teaching of Alice A. Bailey in 1989. This influenced me shortly afterwards, to co-found the Centre for Esoteric Studies in Toronto Canada. Its mission was to foster practical application of deeper understanding in everyday life. Progressive training was offered in living greater consciousness through meditations, lectures, workshops, as well as long-term courses. I continued my esoteric studies with an alternative institution in the United States and six years later received a Ph.D.E. in Advanced Esoteric Sciences. Having been trained as a school teacher, I taught primary grade school while getting an Honors degree in Fine Arts and the skills honed were well used at the Centre. I have continued to teach the last few years solely through Spirit Fire in the town of Thornbury Ontario, as well as Leyden Ma. and Colorado. Empowering people to become more aware and live greater meaning in their lives is sometimes more effective on a one to one basis. Psycho-spiritual counseling is part of my joyful service. Donna Mitchell-Moniak and I have worked closely together for the last twenty years, co-creating courses, an e-learning program, co-teaching and co-authoring a book called, Illumined Astrology, revealing soul through astrology. Our second book The Bigger Picture is on its way.
