INTERLUDE MEDITATION - Day 3
STILLNESS, MOVEMENT, AND JOY Joy arises from a stillness of sorts, deep within the center of our being. We can locate this center by moving our awareness to the space of the heart. Heart-focus connects us to our livingness. Stillness resides there as well. A stillness made possible by immovable truth and wisdom; the culmination of a life lived and of our inherent beauty and goodness revealed. The heart is a wellspring of these revelations.
From the depth of stillness, we can sense the movement that connects us to the livingness of all things. Joy arises as we celebrate this connection… its movement, and simultaneously, its stillness. There is a timeless quality to joy. This is why it is transcendental. When we connect to the livingness of a laughing baby, the expression of that connection is joy. When we connect to the livingness of a sunflower, the expression of that connection is joy. When we connect to the livingness of a panoramic view, another joyful human being, or a playful puppy – we experience joy; it is expansive and captivating. It is a revelatory blossoming that exists, ever efflorescing, within the pristine nature of our inner-stillness. Today’s meditation is quiet and spacious with a tip of the hat to Louise Hay and her beloved affirmation, “In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete.” And so it is. Simply settle into your inner-wisdom; stillness will reveal the subtle movement, the perfect joy. |
