SOFTEN, OPEN, RECEIVE MEDITATION - Day 3
RECEIVING THE OFFERING We must soften to another to build a meaningful relationship. Union of any sort takes softening. The wintery ground must soften to take in melting snow and summon life-force to the surface as Spring approaches. There is great power in softening so as to allow for union, integration, and cooperation.
This meditation references Lao Tzu: “Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong.” Soften to the truth of that statement and feel the power. Happy meditating. |
